If you are in the mood to try to Mexican, you need not travel all the way to Indiranagar any more, as Chinita has a new outlet in Koramangla. Situated on the first floor, the place is much bigger than its Indiranagar outlet. Though it is new, the crew is quite well versed with the menu. On one of my visits to other office, we dropped in here for a quick dinner. Am glad we visited this place.

We tried – Tortilla chips and salsa, Tortilla chips and guacamole, grilled corn, nachos. The grilled corn with generous helping cheese over it, is too tempting to share. We wanted to try something new – so we resorted to Mole. Mole is a Mexican sauce with a hint of chocolate, with cilantro rice, pico de gallo, onions and queso fresca. Albeit, we opted for the chicken version.They have other meat options available too.

The portions are good enough to be shared by 2 moderate eaters. The presentation of each dish accompanied by the earthen bowls fascinated me. I have even carried back one of them, after informing them to plant a sapling. On checking with them, on availability / sourcing of ingredients, I was told that they are getting their supplies responsibly and as close to authentic as they can.

For desserts we had churros (I shall say, save the appetite for their other desserts). The chocolate chilly cake with ice cream is a must try here. You can also try the flan.
