Sometimes small shops act like treasure troves. Cake Genie on CMH road is one such quaint place.Apparently , they are operating here since 2012, I just don’t know how I never spotted this shop earlier.
They specialize in cakes and savouries and have variety of cheesecakes on offer.Their signature dish is the”gulab jamun cheesecake”. It was very different with actual gulab jamun pieces tucked neatly inside the cheesecake.
I also tried the blue berry cheesecake, chicken tart (bite size),french macarons, fudge brownie, sandwiches, quiche and a lemon ice tea.
Apart from this they have lots of other pastries,cakes, cupcakes and cookies to offer.
Came back home with chicken lasagna & banana cake.
They have free home delivery and also provide cheesecakes etc to other F&B houses.
I saw an interesting post on the notice board – bring back 5 lids of boxes, and get a pastry free.
