I believe that there are some quaint and small outlets which actually cater real good food and we need to be on the lookout. I crossed this place for the past few weeks and felt the queer instinct of visiting this place, probably the first reason being the name “Chefactory”. I wondered if it has any connection with the most popular political face (my personal thought) in the fashion world and our outfits.
Well, once I visited, it turned out to be a very quaint place, with about 12 seats but a vibrant interior and a very clean and beautiful open kitchen where you can actually order, wait and see your food move at every step until it comes to your table or in the form of takeaway. The concept is “QSR” quick service restaurant. It’s like serving Indian food in the model like Domino’s, or Mac D, does. I felt it’s an awesome idea. Another thing which stroke my thought is when I was young and craved for the usual Bengali snacks like roll, chow Mein or “Mughlai parota” my mom would permit or disapprove of the place, mainly because of hygiene factor. I saw, many such things being served here – in such perfect hygienic way – that no one needs to worry.
My husband and I had a long day at work and wanted to treat ourselves to little good food and not a very elaborate dinner and that’s another reason to choose this place .But as we tasted one dish after the other – we almost forgot our initial intent. When food tastes good – gluttony is no more a sin!
We started with the paneer adraki tikka (it was juicy n soft) ,periperi murg tikka , murg lasooni tikka followed by veg navratan sheek (nutty crunchiness adds to the pleasure of having it).
We then moved to the chicken biriyani & this comes with salan & raitha . Now let me tell you this biriyani was absolutely perfect for my palate, not very spicy, not bland or dry. The absolute “Hyderabadi biriyani”. The salan was very yummy too, it had that groundnut texture and taste with actual vegetables, which I don’t find in the usual places. Their biriyani is available in 3 sizes (exec, regular n kg) .The raitha was very creamy and rich too. For all authentic hyderabadi biriyani lovers, please do try … You will like it.
After having all this the Tandoori chicken looked so yummy, we could not resist taking home.
The wait time is very less. They have quite a few options in roti and paratha too, uniquely they serve roti / parota etc. in a white paper bag so that they don’t become cold or soggy.
I also noticed that they serve “RAW” the fruit juice, apart from the soft drinks and fizzy drinks. So if you are little conscious about your drink – you have a healthy option too. They also serve some cool mocktails which are appealing in taste and look too.
Following Friday – I ordered for their set meals for lunch from Chefactory and all my team members really liked it. The portions packed were more than 1 person can have & we happily nibbled from each other’s boxes and saving 2 for other friends. We even got discounts – and called it a happy Friday!!
This is one place – which will make itself quite popular in the outer ring road – with its service, food, taste and quality. They have it all – which takes it make it to the heart!
Yummy photography coupled with a delicious description!
Will surely try this outlet on some lip smacking day!
Keep up the appetising reviews!!
