A little before I was visiting my family in Kolkata , on Black Friday (yes , you read it right) – yes , In India the trend has caught up where certain clothing line or shops offer discounts on the day US celebrates Black Friday. Well, as we were expecting a new member in the family I felt compelled to do some window shopping and took myself to PSN. Well, window shopping turned into real shopping and post shopping I needed somewhere to rest my tired feet. Now, going shopping alone was easy but where to sit (avoiding the crowd) , I walked the length and breadth of the corridor and found this place – at the end of the corridor with dine-in options – above all I chose this place for the alfresco dining which is more assuring in the current times. Just another group of young bunch was hanging out.
I sat there and never realized that I will actually spend the rest of the sipping , slurping by myself. I started with a sangria, but with the nip in the air , I did not mind trying the soup too. For the sangria – I asked for a peanut masala, as an accompaniment which can never go wrong. I tried a few other finger foods before trying the fusion pizza, which initially I was skeptical but rather loved the fusion eventually.

I was wondering if I shall add one more main or go for desserts, but as per the manager’s choice – resorted to daal makhni and chawal and trust me , I could not help thank him enough. It was not only good – there was something very satisfying about this combination.
In the new normal if you are visiting this mall – self/ with family / friends – pls check this place , I am sure the alfresco sitting arrangement will allure you.
